Nvidia ने Blackwell B200 या त्यांच्या नव्या कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) चिपचे अनावरण केले आहे जी जगातली सर्वात शक्तिशाली चिप असणार आहे. नवी B200 चिप यापूर्वीच्या B100 पेक्षा ३० पटीने अधिक वेगाने काम करू शकते! याची किंमत अंदाजे २५ लाख ते ३४ लाख रुपये दरम्यान असेल! जगातल्या सर्व प्रमुख कंपन्या त्यांच्या AI उत्पादनांसाठी Nvidia च्याच चिपचा वापर करत आहेत.
NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip ही अशी CPU चिप आहे जिच्यामध्ये एका बाजूला एक आणि दुसऱ्या बाजूला दुसरी अशा दोन B200 जोडलेल्या आहेत!
Blackwell या GPU Architecture चं नाव David Harold Blackwell या गणितज्ञाच्या सन्मानार्थ ठेवण्यात आलं असून त्यांनी गेम थेअरी आणि स्टॅटिस्टिक्समध्ये काम केलं होतं.
या कंपनीचा बाजारातील हिस्सा ८०% असून या नव्या चिपमुळे त्यांचं वर्चस्व आणखी वाढतच जाणार आहे. काही दिवसांपूर्वीच Nvidia (एनव्हिडिया) ने गूगल आणि ॲमेझॉनला मागे टाकत जगातल्या सर्वात जास्त भागभांडवल असलेल्या कंपन्याच्या यादीत आता तिसऱ्या स्थानी झेप घेतली आहे.
Nvidia चे प्रमुख Jensen Huang यांनी B200 “ब्लॅकवेल” चिप व्यतिरिक्त त्यांच्या Annual Developer Conference कार्यक्रमात बऱ्याच नव्या सॉफ्टवेअर टूल्सचा बद्दलसुद्धा माहिती दिली आहे. सोबतच ह्युमनॉइड रोबोट्स तयार करण्यासाठी चिप्सच्या नवीन मालिकेची रूपरेषा देखील मांडली आणि यावेळी अनेक रोबोट्सना मंचावर सामील होण्यासाठी आमंत्रित केले.
१९९३ मध्ये स्थापना झालेली Nvidia मुळात ग्राफिक्सवर प्रक्रिया करणाऱ्या कॉम्प्युटर चिप्सच्या GPU प्रकारासाठी विशेषतः कॉम्प्युटर गेम्ससाठी असणाऱ्या गेमिंग GPU साठी ओळखली जात होती.
एआय क्रांतीच्या खूप आधी, त्यांनी चिप्समध्ये वैशिष्ट्ये जोडण्यास सुरुवात केली ज्यामध्ये ते म्हणतात की मशीन लर्निंगला मदत करते त्यासाठी वेळोवेळी मोठी गुंतवणूक केली ज्यामुळेच आज त्यांना बाजारातील मोठा हिस्सा मिळवण्यास मदत झाली आहे. परंतु हळूहळू एएमडी आणि इंटेल सारख्या प्रतिस्पर्ध्यांमधूनसुद्धा स्पर्धा वाढत आहे.
जगभरातील सर्व मोठ्या कंपन्या Nvidia च्या चिपचा वापर करणार असून यामध्ये AWS, डेल, गूगल, मेटा, मायक्रोसॉफ्ट, OpenAI, Oracle, टेस्ला, xAI यांचाही समावेश आहे. या कंपन्यांचे प्रमुख त्यांच्या व्यवसायाला Nvidia च्या उत्पादनांचा आणि सेवांची कशा प्रकारे मदत झाली याबद्दल बोलताना पुढील प्रमाणे व्यक्त झाले आहेत.
